Affordable Connectivity Program helps struggling households during the COVID-19 crisis.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices.

If your household is eligible, you can receive:

  • Up to a $30/month discount on your internet service
  • Up to a $75/month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands

A household may be eligible if one member qualifies for the Lifeline program, receives benefits under the free and reduced price school lunch program, received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year, meets the eligibility criteria for an existing low-income or COVID-19 program, or experienced a substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020.

To see if you qualify please go to:  Home – ACP – Universal Service Administrative Company (acpbenefit.org).  If you are approved print the approval confirmation and bring it to your nearest Highland Communications or Highland Telephone office to enroll in the program.

If you have questions or you are not currently a Highland Communications, LLC broadband customer please call 423-346-4050 or 423-569-3535.
