FEDERAL PRISON INMATE, LADY COMPANION CHARGED IN ESCAPE
posted 08/18/2014 by wkcarroll@highland.net

In another incident related to the federal prison in Pine Knot, an inmate from the minimum security camp and his lady companion from Tennessee were recently charged in connection with the inmate’s escape. While the investigation into the case remains under investigation, it appears that 37 year old Teresa Phillips, of New Market, Tennessee, was involved in a plot to pick up inmate Delman Davis and take him to a local motel. Officials say Davis was detained at the federal prison and is facing additional charges beyond his original sentence for cocaine distribution. Phillips was arrested by local authorities and was charged with first degree escape and marijuana possession. She was lodged in the Casey County Detention Center under $20,000 cash bond.
