A puppy mill in Pulaski County was the focus of an animal rescue this week with charges filed against the owner of the property. Police were on the scene Tuesday at Dream Catcher Kennels in the Nancy community where they say a large number of animals were found living in filth with untreated medical issues, little or no shelter and inadequate food and water supplies available. The dogs, ranging in breed from Chihuahuas to Bloodhounds, were taken from the location and placed in the custody of the ASPCA. The property owner, Dennis Bradley, was charged with animal cruelty, to which he was expected to plead guilty and face six months in jail probated for 24 months. During that time he would not be allowed to operate a kennel or breeding operation. The investigation is being conducted by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department working with the Pulaski County Attorney and the ASPCA.
